John 3:16 Yes, God so loved the world that he gave His only Son, that whoever believes in him may not die but have eternal life.
1 John 5:11-13 The testimony is this: God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever possesses the Son possesses life; whoever does not possess the Son of God does not possess life. I have written this to make you realize that you possess eternal life-you who believe in the name of the Son of God.
Ephesians 2:8-9 I repeat, it is owing to his favor that salvation is yours through faith. This is not your own doing, it is God's gift; neither is it a reward for anything you have accomplished, so let no one pride himself on it.
Acts 10:37-43 What has happened all over Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached, how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power. He went about doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. We are witnesses of all that he did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They put him to death by hanging him on a tree. This man God raised on the third day and granted that he be visible, not to all the people, but to us, the witnesses chosen by God in advance, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. He commissioned us to preach to the people and testify that he is the one appointed by God as judge of the living and the dead. To him all the prophets bear witness, that everyone who believes in him will receive forgiveness of sins through his name."
Romans 10:8-10 What is it he does say? "The word is near you, on your lips and in your heart" (that is the word of faith that we preach). For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Faith in the heart leads to justification, confession on the lips to salvation.
I pray that all of our fasting, prayers and good works during the Lenten season changed our thoughts and hearts for the good of all. May we grow daily in spiritual awareness and avoid everything that keeps us away from the love of God.
Let us celebrate the Risen Christ. His bitter suffering, death and resurrection has purchased for us our eternal salvation. Let us abandon ourselves to Him and share in His victory over sin and death. Let us always be mindful of the love and suffering of our Blessed Mother Mary and be thankful for all of our blessings.
God Bless America! May you and your families be blessed and enjoy the rewards of Easter now and forever.
